This large 98.15ha wine, citrus and olive farm on level land is located in the Breede River valley, 32km from Worcester, 13km from Wolseley, and 32km from Wellington, off the R43, between the Elandsberg and Wittebrug mountain ranges with nature reserves as a majestic backdrop.

A large portion of the farm is under irrigation with arable land in this winter rainfall area which is renowned for it's red and white grapes with vines consisting of 6 different cultivars, on 29.55 ha of prime land which was producing an average of 16.21 ton/ha ranging in age from 1991 to 2014. There is a further 9.4 ha planted to Olives and 9.7 ha to Citrus. 3.5 ha seasonal crops and 23 earth dams covering 5 ha for growing Hawthorn and 30 ha fallow lands are included. Registered water rights include water off the Darlingbrug Irrigation Board scheme (33,900 m³), borehole ground water (50,000 m³) and surface water (190,000 m³) as well as an earth dam with a capacity of 20,422 m³. There are 4 cement reservoirs, 2 of which are used to gravity feed water when pumping from the Breede River. In all the recorded droughts, this farm has never been in short supply of water.
The experts suggest an average of 4,500m³ water is needed per ha for different crops. This therefore equates to 83.09 ha that can be irrigated. (373900m³/4500m³).
