Acutts Service Stations Division is a division of the Acutts Property Group, which was Established in 1851. Our Service Station Division focuses exclusively on the marketing and sale of petrol stations and related businesses, covering the whole of South Africa.

Our Service Station Specialist, John Randall, has been involved in the petrol station industry for 46 years. He worked for Caltex for over 10 years in their Retail Marketing Division. He left Caltex holding the position of Retail Manager. He then successfully operated his own Caltex Service Station for 7 years before joining Engen in their Retail Marketing Division for a further 7 years. He left Engen and successfully operated an Engen Garage for 3 years. He left Engen to venture out as a Business Broker which he has now been successfully practising for over 21 years.

John has now been selling, developing and re- branding service stations for over 15 years throughout Kwa-Zulu Natal, during which period he has successfully concluded 160 transactions.

John is well known amongst the service station dealers as well as the various oil companies. His vast knowledge of the service station industry is much relied on by sellers and by the oil companies, who seek his knowledge, experience and expertise for peace of mind when brokering, developing or re- branding a site.

John has also professionally evaluated a number of service station businesses for the oil companies and well as privately owned businesses.

Currently Acutts is the only leading real estate firm specialising in the sale, leasing, development and re-branding of service station sites in a number of provinces.

Acutts has a registered Valuer and Sworn Appraiser “in-house”. Our Valuer has valued many freehold petrol station properties, not only for the various oil companies, but for private individuals and/or private companies.
